Napoleon Hill

Napoleon HillNapoleon Hill is considered to have influenced more people into success than any other person in history. Born in a one-room cabin, he began his career as a journalist. His big break came when he was asked to interview steel-magnate Andrew Carnegie, who was so impressed with the young reporter that he convinced Hill to research and organize the world's first philosophy of individual achievement. The project took 20 years to complete. Hill wrote several best-selling books on the subject. Napoleon Hill's "Think And Grow Rich" is one of Nightingale-Conant's best-selling programs of all time.

George Halsey, always shy.

Eleven years ago this month, I sat in the home theater of Charlotte, North Carolina Businessman Don Storms. He was hosting a gathering for Independent Business Owners. I sat with George Halsey one-on-one and listened intently to his thoughts on goals and dreambuilding.

George Halsey was a pioneer in network marketing being the first black IBO to reach the level of Diamond in the Amway line of sponsorship. He overcame shyness, and stepped out of his comfort zone.

As we sat together he detailed just how important it was for him to have a goal that pushed him to do what he found very uncomfortable.

"You have to want something bad enough that its harder to do without it than it is to do what it takes to get it." he said.

It was as simple as that. Just want it bad enough and you'll do what you have to to get it. While my connection to the Amway business ended some years back, George Halsey was one person I still enjoyed listening to. His training was not specific to Amway, but can be applied to any networking situation.

On September 2, 2008 George Halsey passed away. The Amway business has lost a hero. He will be missed not only by his business organization, but by all of us who knew him. Our thoughts are with George's wife, Ruth and their Daughter, Karen.

Comission River - Multiple Income Streams

A Commission River is what you get by combining multiple income streams from computers and peripherals, local phone service, home security, domain names, satellite television, home security, credit cards, cell phones and plans, identity theft protection and more.

If a totally free business opportunity is what you are looking for, check out the Commission River Opportunity.

A simple three step signup is all that is required for the creation of your own interactive website with a robust back office providing some of the best agent training available anywhere.

"Commission River Inc. was founded in December 2005. Although, up to that point, the primary business interest of the founders of Telarus had been commercial telecommunications. Many independent agents and clients requested that Telarus put its award-winning technical staff to work on a program that offered agents more than just business phone services. Over time, the chorus of requests became so resounding that the founders of Telarus; Adam Edwards and Patrick Oborn, decided it was time to grow in a new direction using the base of relationship marketing experience gained from commercial telecom sales."

"Commission River is an independent, privately held corporation, owned by the same shareholders as Telarus, Inc. The focus of Commission River is to offer unique, strategic, and complimentary residential-based offerings that the other "big players" in the online affiliate marketing space have undeserved or missed altogether. Commission River does not add a vendor to it's portfolio of advertisers unless it can bring something original to the table. This ensures that the publishers and independent agents who work with us have a strategic advantage when they take these products to market."

"Even though Commission River itself is just a few years old, the people behind the scenes have years of experience building, managing, and supporting online affiliate marketing programs. The director of Commission River, Robert Probst, is a great example of leadership and integrity in the online affiliate marketing space. With over 5 years of experience at the helm of other programs, Mr. Probst brings with him the ability to create agent-friendly, vendor-profitable programs that last."
